General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello welcome to the health care magic

Dry cough can be from allergic inflammation of bronchi or viral influenza infection....

For that Symptomatic management with antihistaminic drug (ex. Phenylephrine) can be done... It can be prescribed for five days

Avoid excess spicy foods and fatty meals for few days

Vitamin C lozenges chewed three times a day for five days

Drink warm water

Take one tsp ginger juice with honey daily for seven days

If in 5 days no improvement then investigate with CBC, throat swab and chest x ray

Hope your concern solved

Take care
