How Can Frequent Neuropathic Pain On The Hamstring And Foot Be Reduced?

I am experiencing neuropathic shocks to my hamstring area and fleshy part of my (outside) foot. Both shocks are frequent ( 4 to 10 seconds apart) and range in severity from a 6 to a 10; 10 being the worst. This pain started about 11 hours ago, leg and six hours ago, foot, What steps can I take to get them to subside.... can not sleep at all.

Anesthesiologist 's  Response
hi, I have gone through your question. I am a practicing anaesthesiologist and pain consultant.
Many of the patient suffering from sciatica, experience hamstring spasm and pain. Tightness in the hamstrings results in increased stress on the low back and increases the symptoms of sciatica.
I would like to suggest, routine regular hamstring stretching exercises. During our day to day work hamstrings don't get stretch, they are often overly tight and specific stretching exercises are needed to keep them healthy and extended.
Hamstrings stretching exercise thrice daily along with warm up before exercise will help you a lot.
