Hi, I have a friend who's been recently diagnosed with a stomach fungal infection by a naturopath. She has been placed on an extremely strict diet of basically just non-processed meats and non-sweetened vegetables. This does not seem safe as it would not provide a sufficient nutritional value. Are there any tests that would detect a fungal infection of the stomach that can be requested by a GP? And if the results are positive what kind of treatment would be recommended?
