I was a navy corpsman not a podiatrist but I m hoping I can cope with this @ home. Can you help/suggest treatment? SKite
Hi, I can understand your concern regarding your toenail infection. Let me tell you that fungal infection of toenail is very tough to treat. A lot of patience is needed during the treatment. Fluconazole 200 mg once a week for 6 months will have to be taken. Please try to keep the area around your right toenail clean and dry. Yo can also consult a physician nearby who can examine your condition physically before prescribing you the medicines. I hope this answer helps. Please feel free to ask another question if there is still any confusion. Thanks, Dr.Prabhas
