Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
I recently was treated for H. Pylori. Treatment was really harsh but I did complete it. I m now feeling like I have the symptoms of Gastritis. What can I take for this? I feel very bloated and full all the time and can only eat little amounts. I m wondering if this is normal after H. Pylori treatment. I do believe I had the symptoms of it before though too.
Sometimes, it takes a certain amount of time for the acid secretion in the stomach to normalize after taking treatment for H.Pylori.
You can take tab. Esomeprazole or Pantoprazole. Maintain a strict diet to avoid spicy and oily foods. Drink good quantity of water. Consume butter milk. Decrease your stress by practising meditation regularly. Regularize your eating habits.
Once you take care of all the supportive measures along with medications, you should feel better and be back to normal.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
Dr. Ashakiran S,
General & Family Physician
