She is c-section baby hence it could not possible pass form me has do not have any skin warts. The doctors believe passed externally by her caretaker. I have being advised by her dermatologist that the wart will go away in the next 3-4 years whoever at the rate its growing is alarming for me. The dermatologist has prescribed Aldara (5% Imiquimod) to use on her. My problem now is that this meds are not sold in Papua New Guinea hence I need to source this form overseas. My question is Is this ointment suitable for a month old child and could I be able to prucahse this ointment form your store/hospital?
Genital warts in infants will settle in two or three days as child grows and attain immunity. You can apply Imiquimod, as of now no cauterization or cryotherapy is required. It can possibly be transmitted from care taker as the mother had no similar illness.
Hope I have answered your query.
