Pathologist and Microbiologist, Dr. Siddartha's Response
Hello,
Gestational hypertension means elevated pressure diagnosed during pregnancy. In the majority of women after delivery, it will come to normal. High blood pressure will be deleterious to the growing baby. It will halt or slow the growth of the baby. You better consult gynecologist or obstetrician for better management.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards, Dr. Siddartha
