How Can Glans Itching With Scrotum Swelling Be Treated?

Hi,i am 34yrs old, for past 7yrs now, l used to have wound at the cap of my penis, it may come twice in a year but last yr was once and nothing since begining of ds year due to antibiotics l takes if l notice it dt the itch on my penis cap wl form wound. But this case is different bcos l started having itching last night b4 l found dt it was getting much, l woke up at 3am and found dt my scrotum swolle up. Pls advs me. From Yaya

Hi.
Noted your history of recurrent itching on the glans, this is called balanitis and indicates that either you may have diabetes or you are getting infected from your partners as she may be suffering from the same.
The treatment must be take by both of your, simultaneously if you want cure.

If there is itching and sudden swelling of the penis and the scrotum, this can be due to an allergic reaction and you should consult your GP immediately to get the correct diagnosis and treatment.
Do not do any self-treatment as this can change the character of the disease that a Doctor may not then be in a position to diagnose it properly.
