My husband has glioblastoma, had a brain tumor removed 05/17/17, for the month of august had chemo/radiation, two weeks ago he had an MRI & it showed another tumor growth, they are planning to do another surgery on 09/26/17. He is taking Dexamethasone 3 mg/day for 4 months, he had gained about 12 lbs, his appetite was excellent, but now for 3-4 days he wakes up and has nausea, he says anything he eats tastes sweet, has lost his appetite, last month his platelet count had gone down to 102,000, in 3 weeks watching his diet & eating a lot of kale and lots of greens it went up to 142.000, NOW my question is: what should I do about his loss of appetite?
