I ve been tested positive for Gonorrhoea, I had no symptoms except for my vagina being sore & discharge. I got the shot & I was sick when they gave me the medicine so I threw it back up. I went to the doctor again I still had discharge & me feeling like I needed to use the bathroom. Never had burning sensation when using the bathroom either. I got tested again & It came back negative. I still had discharge a little after but now it look like it s clearing up but I still feel the urge to use the bathroom. Should I go to the doctor again?
Hi, Welcome to HCM. Gonococcal infection, if not treated adequately, it will lead to complications which sometimes persist for ever. What type of tests you underwent to rule out Gonorrhea? Repeated negative Gonococcal culture only could be the test for cure. Vaginal discharge could be due to various other causes also like Tichomonas, yeast infection and bacterial vaginosis. You had not mentioned anything about your marital status and sexual activities. Your sex partners also have to be treated as well for the possible STDs. Dr S.Murugan
