How Can Hair Loss And Scalp Infection Be Treated?

hi I have a question please? My suster’s hair is falling so much Her problem started in 2015 there was two red patches with discharge in her scalp she went to the doctor and she did nothing only she told her to use a warm water on it actually the patches gone and return between now and then sometimes without discharge but always it’s itchy painful with swelling and hair falling she went to another specialist but no one say what is the problem exactly she used the prescribed antibiotics, cream with cortisone and even antifungal but nothing help What is the main cause of this and does the hair falling caused due to this patches? note;(she did a blood test she had a couple deficiencies : hemoglobin, iron and vit D) she was on treatment and everything was normal Her age: 27 not married , not pregnant , does not have a child.

Hi
Thank you for asking HCM
I have gone through your query. If you send a picture of your scalp lesions then it will be more helpful in understanding the problem. It can be most likely due seborrheic dermatitis or fungal infection. Using combination of ketoconazole and clobetasol lotion will be helpful. Oral antifungal agents also will be needed.
Thanks.
I find this answer helpful
