How Can Headache Along With Nausea And Diarrhea Be Treated?

I have been ill quite a bit this winter. I ve had the flu twice, URI and bronchitis. I ve had an almost continuous herpes outbreak for 3 months, which is extremely unusual. Last weekend thought I had a virus again. I had a headache, nausea, diarrhea, body aches. That night when I was trying to sleep, I felt a liquid coming out of my nose almost continuously. When I turned on the light, it was blood mixed with clear fluid. Now it s been three days, and diarrhea is gone, but my abdomen/stomach is still tender and uncomfortable. I am still having to be careful what I eat and stick with bland food.

Hello and Welcome to ‘Ask A Doctor’ service. I have reviewed your query and here is my advice.

As per my clinical experience, the condition narrates side effect of antibiotic and anti viral medications given for the URI. Kindly provide me detailed list of current medications for further guidelines. Till that time, consume more liquids in session, PPI as Lansoprazole on empty stomach, pro biotics as lacto bacillus content will support.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
