How Can Headache And Runny Nose Be Treated?

Hello Doctor, I was suffering from flu for the past four days and have been on anti viral medication for three. I know headaches are a common symptom during the flu and especially with me because I have the problem of never having a running nose and so the phlegm stays in my head and it creates headaches. Can I take Clavam 625 to address this phlegm problem while I am still on anti-viral medication

Hello,

There is no such distinction you will get flu due to a headache running nose and all, sinusitis can be due to viral or bacterial infection.

If you are getting treated with antiviral and not responding, you can go with antibacterial medications like Clavam but it is a prescription drug and needs to be taken by any physician of your locality. Take that tablet for 5 to 7 days twice or thrice daily.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Archana
