How Can Headache And Vomiting In A Child Be Treated?
my son had headache n vomitting and dn after few hr he got seizers.. so he hospitilised fr a day MRI scan normal dn Dr suggested to tk epiliv 500mg twice a day fr 6mnth .my son age is 9yr and his wieght is 48-50so suggest me pls should i gv him dis tab or not?
Thanks for your question on Healthcare Magic. I can understand your concern. By your history and description, possibility of Epilepsy is more likely in your son. MRI is usually normal in Epilepsy. But history of headache, vomiting, seizures etc are suggestive of Epilepsy. And epiliv (levipil) is safe anti epileptic drug for children. You should definitely start this drug to prevent future seizure attacks. Also get done EEG (electro encephalo gram) to identify the cause for seizures. Hope I have solved your query.
