How Can Headache Be Treated For A Patient Who Recently Had A Stroke?

my grandfather, 84 years old, who has recently had a stroke and is home from the hospital under care of family, is suddenly experiencing pressure in his head, complaining of a headache. i have given him his prescribed 50mg Tramadol, which has not offered any relief.

He can take analgesics like Mefenamic Acid or Acetaminophen.

If symptoms are severe better to go for an MRI scan to rule out possibilities like chronic SDH.
