How Can Headaches And Vertigo Be Treated?

My daughter 15 years old is taking Methylprednisolone and Amox-Clav 875Mg tablets for ear infections and gland infections. Because of head ace she is getting a vertigo symptom. Every time she takes the above medicine she throws up about an hour to an hour and a half later. I am afraid the meds are not in her system long enough to help or they are making her sick. She has been on them for 2 days. What should I do?

Hello, Thanks for the query.
She is probably not able to tolerate Amoxyclav 875 mg dosage. Since she has ear infection, you may check with the doctor whether an alternate antibiotic combination or a single one can be given. For vertigo she should take cinnarizine 25 mg either once or twice a day along with a painkiller like acetaminophen 500 mg 2 or 3 times a day. If headache stops with one or two doses, then pain killer should be discontinued. Since she has ear infection so an alternate antibiotic should be selected.
