General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

I would like to suggest one drug:

Tranexamic acid 650 mg (2 tab) X 3 times X 5 days during menstruation.

I would like to suggest you to stop taking Meprate whenever you like. It is a hormone and should be taken according to the course.

Tranexamic is a better solution. Because whenever you are giving hormone, the natural hormone production gets affected.

I also suggest some tests:

1. Serum ferritin
2. lower abdomen USG (to see whether any problem is there or not, any structural abnormality, the thickness of the endometrium, etc)
3. Blood test

With the test results, please post here another question.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care

Regards,
Dr Dipan Samanta, General & Family Physician
