Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
I have what I believe are hemorrhoids that become inflamed every time I use the bathroom. More often than not they bleed when I go to the bathroom, and they almost always bleed when I wipe myself after. I can see that they become quite large after I have used the bathroom. This has been going on for almost a year. They are not usually painful. Should I see a doctor about this, and if so, should I see a GP or a specialist?

How Can Hemorrhoids Be Treated?
Hello! Welcome to HealthcareMagic! Some advice that I can give to you are: 1) Apply a hemorrhoid cream. 2) Use pads containing witch hazel or a numbing agent. 3) Soak regularly in a warm bath or sitz bath. If you don t get better, see your local doctor. Hope this clarifies your concerns. Thank you for the query. Take care Regards, Dr. Dorina Gurabardhi, General & Family Physician
