How Can Hemosiderin Staining Under My Left Eye Be Removed?

I had an injection of restalyne seven months ago and am left with a hemosidern stain under my left eye. Is there any way I can get rid of it? I live on Long Island in New York and was wondering if there are any local doctors I could see. I would be willing to go to New York city if necessary. Thanks for any information you can give me.

General Surgeon 's  Response
Hello,

As per my surgical experience, long standing staining of hemosiderin cannot be removed by certain drops or other therapies. After a thorough physical examination and ultrasound pattern of the retina and eye, I can recommend that Laser therapy can have certain role in some cases after evaluation by an expert.

Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Bhagyesh V. Patel, General Surgeon
