Hi i have recently been diagnosed with Hep b and although I was vaccinated against it n hep a in 2010 while on the interfuron I still managed to get it i was released from hospital on Thursday just gone with 3 blood request forms to be done every 2 days n said i had to visit the liver clinic once a week but failed to give me an appointment. They admitted me last week due to being very yellow n im looking about the same again my urine is really dark dark brown n i am drinking plenty of water n other fluids . How do I know if my liver is gonna pack it in how yellow do I get before i go into emergency how dark will my urine be before i know

Hi, That yellowish discoloration is due to hyperbilirubinemia and darkness of urine due to high level of Urobilinogen. As you have mentioned, you are having Hepatitis B.
