How Can Herpes Be Treated ?

Hello, I was very recently diagnosed with herpes. I have only been with one partner who swears he does not have it and has been tested himself. I recently was shaved by him and i got severe razor burn which caused blisters. The doctor did all std tests and they came back negative but she said the one blood test showed a positive for a recent acquirement of herpes . Is it possible to be misdiagnosed?

I think you should do a again a viral culture to confirm the diagnose.
