How Can High Blood Pressure Be Treated During Pregnancy?

I have high blood pressure thinking of becoming pregnant. I take macsrdis plus 80 mg which works heavenly for me. Can t take it though during pregnancy. Doctor put me on mylan nifidamine 60 mg didn t work well took for three weeks awful side affects. What does work good what is safe ?

Hi,

Macridis is strictly prohibited in pregnancy because it can harm the baby. , so you should not be using it during your pregnancy.

I'd you have problems with Nefidipine, you can use other like labetalol and or methyldopa which are safe in pregnancy. Ask your doctor about this.
