How Can High Blood Pressure Be Treated?

My husband has heart disease. His blood pressure has been high for several days. His doc just increased his bp medicine, losartan to 100 mg, but his pressure continues to rise and is currently 215/110 with a heart rate of 100. Should we seek immediate help?
