How Can High Fever Along With Headache Be Treated?
My daughter is 13 yrs old she was having high fever101.6 since yesterday night.with shivering and headache . My doctor prescribes her crocin. macpod 200 mg 2 tablet in morning and night. Yesterday night I gave her crocin fever has come down. Again at midnight she got high fever and shivering .headache now I gave her crocin. Now shall I gv her macpod 200 mg 2 tablet along wit this crocin

Since yesterday your daughter is suffering from fever with headache.
As such there are multiple causes for fever but in context to indian continent speciafically in monsoon we see lots of cases of dengue,malaria,chickungunya etc.
In my clinic if patient comes up with such complaint I would examine him/her and if I dont find any pertinent cause for fever then advice them to follow up after 48 hours and prescribe them only medications to control fever.and decide further management after 48 hours.
Already you started a treatment with crocin which is good medicine to tackle fever with headache and if if you have taken macpod then please complete the same.
if fever persist despite above treatment please consult nearby physician for further work.
