Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
Hi my daughter started her fever after falling from stairs but she didn’t cry much and she doesn’t have any bruises or anything but after few hours she had fever for 2 days what do you think it’s?but I took her to the doctor she said her throat is a little bit red but if it’s alittle bit red so why her fever is going higher it reached 40?
I had seen your medical presentation and understood your anxiety. Coming to your daughter’s symptom of high grade fever, most common cause of fever is infection.
It could be due to bacterial infection. You can confirm by following investigations: 1. Complete blood picture 2. Serum electrolytes 3. Urine analysis
Coming to treatment part, you can follow the below treatment: 1. Antibiotics 2. Avoid spicy food which intensifies throat redness 3. Plenty of fluids
There is no need to worry but it is better to act as soon as possible. Hope you could understand all the relevant aspects and act accordingly.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards, Dr. Vamsi Krishna Chittimoju
