How Can High Fever Be Treated?

Hi my daughter started her fever after falling from stairs but she didn’t cry much and she doesn’t have any bruises or anything but after few hours she had fever for 2 days what do you think it’s?but I took her to the doctor she said her throat is a little bit red but if it’s alittle bit red so why her fever is going higher it reached 40?

Hello,

I had seen your medical presentation and understood your anxiety. Coming to your daughter’s symptom of high grade fever, most common cause of fever is infection.

It could be due to bacterial infection. You can confirm by following investigations:
1. Complete blood picture
2. Serum electrolytes
3. Urine analysis

Coming to treatment part, you can follow the below treatment:
1. Antibiotics
2. Avoid spicy food which intensifies throat redness
3. Plenty of fluids
