How Can Hookworm Infection Be Treated?
How come my son got diagnosed with hookworm and was prescribed Biltricide, all in one day, and when I m experiencing the same symptoms, re: I know what s coming out of my body!!! And I m dismissed as a crazy person, whom can t possibly be infected as I have not visited a third world country lately, now my doctor wants me to see an infectious disease specialist! In the meantime while waiting to obtain an appointment, my legs are starting to look like a poor teenagers acne ridden face! I own a microscope! How come the doctor didn t use his when I brought in my specimine ?

hi..hookworms are parasites..mainly 1.ancylostoma duodenale 2. necator americans.
treatment :
1. albendazole single dose 400 mg with empty stomach.
2.Pyrantel pamoate in 11 mg/kg doses for 3 days
3, iron therapy if anemia is there.
4. nutrition suppliments
