How Can Hyper Pigmentation On The Lower Lip Be Treated?

Hi, I ve been having this problem for some years now. I m an African American with naturally dark lips. My upper lip is fine but I ve pink discoloration on my bottom lip. How can I fix this? I want my bottom lip to become is natural dark color again. Thanks
