Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
Hi, I have got my miles removed-one with acid, one by removing the layer of the skin and the third with radio frequency. My dermatologist wanted to see which works better for me. It s been almost 5 months and still the skin where the mole was removed by acid was black and the skin where the layer was taken was dark brown with a mark just like chicken pox scar and the skin where radio frequency is done is pinkish round bump. My doc asked me to apply triluma but it was turning my skin red and then to dark brown to black color. Now she adviced me to use kojivic plus or vitaderm. Please do suggest how to get rid of the black, brown and pinkish skin and how to heal the skin faster near mole removal.
Understanding your concern. As per your query you have symptoms of hyperpigmentation on the face. Need not to worry. I would suggest you to wash your face with mild soap twice a day and apply kojivit cream , exfoliate your skin twice a week and apply vitamin E oil at night before going to bed. Protect your skin from excess sun exposure as it can worsen the condition. It condition doesn't get improved in a month then consult dermatologist again for proper examination . Doctor may prescribe benzoyl peroxide cream , corticosteroid cream and retinoids . Doctor may recommend chemical peeling or dermabrasion depending upon the severity of condition .
Hope your concern has been resolved.
