Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
Last sunday about one week ago I was hit in the eye with a baseball and received a hyphema from it. It has gotten much better in the past week and I want to keep improving. I am wondering if smoking marijuana will slow down the process or even cause it to get worse. If so how long should I hold off from smoking? Thanks
Hyphema settles by itself without any treatment. No need to take marijuana. If you experience any symptoms like a blurring of vision or a headache. You can consult an ophthalmologist and get evaluated.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Take care
Regards,
Dr. Shinas Hussain, General & Family Physician
