How Can Hypoglycaemia And Severe Fatigue Be Treated?
Hello, Good morning. I am Abhilash from India. My sister (23 Years Old - Weight 42 Kg) last week suddenly she fallen down on the floor because of low sugar in her body. Till now she have already taken 8 to 10 bottles of glucose. As per the report everything is normal now however she still gets unconscious 4 to 5 times a day, She can not allow herself to do something for eg. she cant have food herself. But while going to washroom she is able to manage herself. I don t understand why this is happening to her. please help me, whole family is running with this situation.
Is this the first time or has she had hypoglycemic attack earlier also? It's called recurrent hypoglycemia. Its cause should be identified and treatment should be done accordingly.
There could be glucagonomma or adrenal insufficiency. Do the investigations for hypoglycemia and correct it.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards, Dr. Bhadresh Lakhani
