How Can Hypothyroidism And Irregular Periods Be Treated?

Hi i m 27 yr old and i am married since 1 yr. Ever since i hit my puberty i have irregular periods and recently[6 months back] i was diagnosed with hypothyroidism where i need to use primoult for the onset of my periods... And again my period got delayed for 2 months so i took primoult tablet for 5 days and my period started on the 4 day but the bleeding is very little usually i have heavy flow prior to hypothyroidism onset... I am really tensed and stressed out as i am planning for pregnancy..

I suggest you to stabilize the thyroid as soon as possible. Your cycle will get regular and you will probably get pregnant soon. The treatment consists of Levothyroxine and it is safe to be taken in pregnancy.
