i have had impetigo off and on since Feb. I am on my 3rd oral antibiotic and 3 cream. How can I get rid of it for good. I thought it was going away with the 5 day cream 2x s a day and now a few days later my face is itching again. I am on my last day of my oral antibiotic (3x s a day)

It is spread by direct contact .but it is not a serious problem cured by proper treatment . As you said even after taking medication you are not getting cured , do one thing take he discharge from your lesion and investigate for culture and sensitivity examination in microbiology lab . it will guide you about effective antibacterial drug .along with this maintain proper hygiene and cleanliness of part . next thing is you should also be screened for nasal carrier state of Saphylococcus , so culture examination of nasal swab also and if found positive reat it accordingly .
