I have been dealing with nite sweats for 8 years now and am exhausted. How can I get rid of them my dr will not perscribe anything. I am awake every hour and have to nap throughout the day because i never rest. I have high blood presure and take linsopril 30 mg and this is the only meds

According to your complain you have problem of high blood pressure that also cause more sweating. High dose of drugs also cause this type of symptoms...

Thyroid problem also cause more sweating..
Consult a physician for further diagnosis..
Measure your blood pressure and check it is normal around 120/80mmhg...
