Hi, thank for asking Healthcare Magic. Genital warts is caused by a virus called human papilloma virus (HPV). The primary reason for treating genital warts is the amelioration of symptoms (including relieving cosmetic concerns). In most patients, treatment can induce wart-free periods. If left untreated, visible genital warts can resolve on their own, remain unchanged, or increase in size or number. Available therapies for genital warts likely reduce, but probably do not eradicate, HPV infectivity. What you need to do is to go back to your gynecologist each time the warts reappear.
I hope that answers your query. If you have additional questions or follow up queries then please do not hesitate in writing to us. We will be delighted to answer more questions from you. I wish you good health
