I want to stop smoking and lose 12 pounds. Each time I try to stop smoking I gain weight and start smoking again. My husband lost 80 pounds last year on HCG injections and now wants to lose 20 more. I want to do the HCG with him this time. I plan to do the 26 day program. I lost 10 pounds last year just eating like him but when I stopped smoking I gained it back the first week. I know 12 pounds is not very much but will it help me not gain the additional weight?
Not a lot of data on it but it does seem both in the literature and the 3 people I know who've taken it. It does seem to work. There is not great risk from HCG. Substituting exercise for the smoking would certainly be a better idea (but it doesn't seem to have as good a track record). Hope this is helpful. Could give pointers that having something to do with fingers and mouth is the trigger both on smoking and eating and why they interact. Other substitutes such as nicotine gum, e-cigs, nicotine delivery cartridge systems, frozen grapes would be substitutes likely to be helpful.
