How Can I Switch To Regular Contraceptive Pills Without Delaying Periods?
I had an Ipill yesterday, my periods due on the last week of this month, but I do not want to get it delayed for the sake of this Ipill,is there anyway so that I could switch on to regular contraceptive pill without having periods? I am in my 30's, with around 70 kgs.
You should start your regular contraceptive pills any time when you are not pregnant, however many women take the CP on the first day of the menstrual cycle & continue for 21 days. If a pill is forgotten to be taken it should be taken immediately when remembered. Take the pills regularly at the same time, after 21 days you will have your periods. There are 21 day pills, 28 day pills, 91 day pills & 365 day pills. You can make a choice according to your convenience or take the help of your gynecologist.
