How Can Indentation In Calves Of A Diabetes Patient Be Treated?

I m a caregiver for a 69 year old woman who is waking up with large indentations in both of her calves. About the size of an orange. she has diabetes and congestive heart failure. I will take her to her Dr., however this could take a few days. What is this?

this kind of indentations might be due to infection.infections in diabetes should be treated as early as possible.
to avoid amputations
