How Can Indigestion And Abdominal Gas In An Infant Be Treated?

Hi my daughter is 18 months old today she had indigestion and having severe gas due to which she vomited went to the doctor who advised to give junior lentil 15 mg. but I am a little apprehensive to give that tab because I have heard tablets wouldn t be advised or given until 2 years of age. Kindly advise whether lentil can be given thank you

thanks for posting your query to HCM . usually we avoid tablet in child but if required we can give .However there are so many In your case you can simply give enzymatic/ carminative preparations contain fennel oil, simethicon etc available to relieve gastric distension and discomfort.If not relieved than tried tablet.
