How Can Indigestion Be Treated While Suffering From Breast Cancer?
My mother is a CA breast (Stage-I) survivor , Got eight cycles of chemotherapy, Radio therapy in the last half of 2008. After that no regular medicine was prescribed. For last two years she faced some discomfort in digestion when any break in routine or sometimes for no particular reasons also. she has gone through successful endoscopy and colonoscopy in Nov 2015. since then her gastroenterologist prescribe Razo-L (1 tab before breakfast ) and colonized fort (2 tab daily after meals). She is fine with thses and of course in home made light diet. My question is , how long does this medicine continue?
Your mother was having a problem in digestion could be from bacterial overgrowth syndrome or gastritis.
She has been prescribed antacid and probiotic tablets. It has to be continued for 2 week in such case. But the duration of treatment can be increased if your doctor feels it after her examination.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
