How Can Indigestion Be Treated?

I have indigestion with everything I eat, then within two hours I feel hunger again. I have been told by my doctor I am on the verge of diabetes. I am unsure what type of diet I should follow. Can you help? Thank you for your time, did not know I would have to pay.

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi. I suggest that you take this medication called as omeprazole an hour before a meal, not exceeding 2 tablets a day. You need to have your liver function tests done, as that may indicate reasons for your indigestion. Your doctor can only suspect diabetes if you have 3 problems of frequent hunger, thirst and urination. Other than this, he has to perform blood sugar tests that involve morning fasting. Thanks. Dr. Neel Kudchadkar
