How Can Infection In The Lungs Be Treated?

Hello doctor my kid she 4 years she suffering from viral cold infection since almost nearly a months we have gone through medical laboratory tests . After seeing the reports doctor there is no problem but after seeing x--ray he said that she have cold infection in lungs for his he suggested the nebulizer with duilon 2.5 inhaler . And also prescribed Meftal p , Relent plus , Claribid 21.5g. But since two-days we following what above doctor said but there is no progress in her health she getting a high fever ever 4 hours and we are giving meftal-p as well as those syrups also and she getting difficult to take breath. So please help me and give a suggestion for this.

Hello,

Don't worry if it is pneumonia it may take time from one to three weeks. Continue above medications if no response observed with 2-3 days after starting treatment, please consult your pediatrician he will examine and change the antibiotic. Avoid giving cold water and ice creams. Use saltwater gargling and water vapor inhalation thrice a day.
