How Can Infertility Be Treated While Suffering From PCOD?

Hi i have history of pcod and my LMPwas march 4 th before this I had 3 monthof missed period.we wish to have a baby so earlier and we will be together on april 14 onwards.so please help me to ovulate on these days.my friend suggest me about tb clomiffine 50 mg daily once from second day of period for ovulation but i am worried about my mensus....could you please connect to a gynaecologist

Hi, I think you should go for evaluation first. do a thyroid profile and prolactin levels to rule out any other cause of irregular periods. In pcod patients, there is problem with ovulation. So, there are irregular periods and it causes difficulty in conceiving also. You can take some medicines like clomiphene for the growth of your follicles and track your follicles growth by repeated ultrasound and when your follicles is more than 17 to 18 mm, take injection for rupturing the follicles. Be in contact with your husband every 2 to 3 days after your periods stop. Take progesterone for next 2 weeks. Do a urine pregnancy test at home after that. You can try like that for 3 to 6 months. Consult a gynecologist.
