Hi... Me and my partner are 26years old. Will be turning 27 this year. We are married for 1 year and 6 months. For the past 3 we have been trying for a child. But it didn t work. I get my periods regularly. That is exactly every 28days. I want to know what I should do?

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi,

Kindly get the following investigations done on consultation with Infertility specialist for evaluation for the cause for delay in conceiving.
1. Ultrasound scan of the abdomen.
2. Ovulation studies by ultrasound scan.
3. Hysterosalpingogram (HSG).
4. Serum FSH, LH hormone levels.

Along with that, you need to get your husband's Semen Analysis done. Kindly consult Infertility specialist with the report for clinical evaluation and appropriate management.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Ashakiran S,
