I am 48 and have been trying for a baby. was pregnant after clomid use in december 2016 but had a miscarriage. Have opted for ivf and to start menogon im when my period starts at 6 ampules of 75IU, then a scan at day 4 to monitor follicles. Is ICSI better than ivf and i just need advise
ICSI and IVF are almost similar in methods. In IVF the sperms and ovum are places in artificial medium and the process of fertilization occurs naturally.
While in ICSI a micro needle is used and a single sperm is picked and is used for fertilization. The success rate of successful fertilization is high in this method. If a good center is available then you can go for ICSI.
Hope I have answered your query.
Let me know if I can assist you further.
