Hi, Anamika this side. I am trying for baby since 3 years. I have history of tuberculosis it got diagnosed and treated completely. I conceived first time on may 14 but it was ectopic and doctors removed my right tube. Again we tried and conceived on jan 15 but it was also ectopic but doctor saved my left tube. Due to ectopics doctor suggested for IVF and we went for IVF . They did 2 ET s and both were failed and then doctor did hysteroscopy and diagnosed tuberculosis in my uterus and they treated it. Now they are asking for trying me normal we are trying but not getting any success. I am now hopeless and wondering I can be pregnant or not . Could you please help me.

General Surgeon 's  Response
Hi,

Since you are a known case of tuberculosis of uterus and fully treated but have one tube removed due to ectopic pregnancy and also had ectopic in another one the only effective management remains is as follows:
Hysteroscopy again to see if the uterus is in a position to have normal pregnancy.
Try IVF again as one tube is missing and another might be blocked.
Also have ovulation studies and get hormonal status done.
All these and additional investigations under the care of a Gynecologist can help you to get a proper management and successful pregnancy.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. T. Chandrakant, General Surgeon
