How Can Infertility While Suffering From Irregular Periods Be Treated?

Trying to conveive: i have irregular periods. my last 3 periods were : Feb 21 March 27 May 5. i don t know when i am ovulating. i have ovulation kit at home but i am not sure when to start checking because of my irregular periods. i will be 29 this September so i want to get pregnant soon. please help. we had unprotected sex on May 21 and May 22. i have lower back/abdomen pain(like periods pain) yesterday so i assumed i might be ovulating. is there any chance i might get pregnant? should i continue unprotected sex for a few more days?

Hi I think you should go for evaluation first. Get a thyroid profile and prolactin level and a ultrasound done to see uterus and ovaries to find out the cause of irregular periods. You can try ovulation induction with timed intercourse for conceiving. Consult a gynecologist for that. You can be in contact with your husband every 2 to 3 days after your periods stop. It will increase chance of pregnancy. Hope it helps
