How Can Inflammation And Severe Itching On The Neck Be Treated?
Hi! There s a small spot on my neck and it s very itchy.I tried using katialis on the spot and the itch was gone and I felt the cooling effect.. When I woke up in the morning I felt itchy all over my neck and I found out that my neck got burnt with katialis and I am now currently suffering fron itching and thickened red neck , just want to ask how to get rid of it?
The rashes around your neck is a result of irritation from the cream you applied. Here is a list of very important things to do to get rid of the irritation.
1. Avoid scratching: Scatrching worsens the situation and exposes the skin to bacterial infection.
2. Get over-the-counter antihistamine drug such as benadryl, this reduces the itch.
3. Apply a low potency steroid cream such as hydrocortisone cream over the affected area. This cream resolves the inflammation.
4. Ensure that area of skin stays wet after bath. After each bath, apply a moisturizing cream on the area.
5. Have lukewarm baths.
I hope I have answered your question. Feel free to ask more questions for clarification.
