How Can Inflammation On The Clitoris Be Treated?

Hello ! I have 2 growths on the my clitoral hood, they are thin and very itchy. A few months ago I ended up in the hospital with P.I.D and when I got tested for the standard stds, everything came back normal. They said i just have a bacterial infection, but i could tell the difference in my discharge. It has a slightly offput scent and is creamier than usual. Honestly I m highly uncomfortable, and I hope it isn t anything to serious. When I was in the hospital my legs and armsee were going numb and I had severe issues. Do you this is something serious, or do you think it s just something like bv and I just have an inflamed hood?

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

As per your clinical history is concerned, please follow like this:

1) Do a clinical examination by your Doctor [Gynae] and to confirm, do a [PCR] test of the sore.
2) Discuss with your treating Doctor about prescription medication like [acyclovir] orally and its cream on sores of the vagina.

Do follow lifestyle modifications like this:

1) Use, a latex condom during every sexual contact.
2) Try to avoid intercourse, if either partner has an outbreak of herpes in the genital area or anywhere else.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Uday Nath Sahoo
