How Can Influenza B Along With Nose Bleeding Be Treated?

My daughter is 9 years old and was diagnosed with Influenza B last night. We have been alternating Tylenol and ibproferen since last night. She has had 3 really good nose bleeds in the last 10 hours and we have had the humidifier running all day. She we be concerned with the nose bleeds

Hello and Welcome to ‘Ask A Doctor’ service. I have reviewed your query and here is my advice.

For nose bleeds make child sit stooping forward head position with pinching nose. Additionally ice or cols water can be applied locally on nose. I would like to avoid ibuprofen and continue only with paracetamol. Please do visit your doctor if symptoms get worse or don't improve in 3 days.
