Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
I am concerned about the influenza going around and have been near someone who was recently diagnosed. I saw on the nightly newst that I should get started on tamiflu if it s known that I have been in contact with a person who has tested positive. Is there any truth to this and would this be advisable? We leave for vacation in 10 days and this is the last thing I m wanting to catch. What steps would you recommend?
